Elevate your table decor during the holidays!

Holiday entertaining starts with a beautiful table setting and decor as thoughtful as the menu and when it comes to the holiday season, taking time to create a unique environment makes all the difference in the experience. Whether you’re planning an intimate dinner party or a table for two, setting the scene for a celebratory night in can be simplified with a few key ingredients.

Here are some ideas from others in creating a festive, beautiful tablescape.

Mix Oranges, Cedar, and Walnuts.

Blogger Sheila Irwin from Maison de Cinq decorated this cozy, feel-good Christmas centerpiece with simple, natural ingredients—oranges, cedar, and whole walnuts—strewn down the middle of her bare wood table. Brass candlesticks and gold-toned chargers add a touch of informal elegance.

LTD Commodities - Reindeer Tea Light Holders

While tall candlesticks and festive centerpieces are great for a large dinner table, we adore these woodland reindeer tea light holders for buffet tables, side tables, bookcases, and anywhere else that could use a touch of ambient candlelight. The simplistic design of these reindeer will fit most aesthetic.

Eucalyptus garlands offer a natural, lush, and elegant look.

Let your imagination flow by using our artificial garlands as a table runner centerpiece, fireplace mantle decor, stairs garland, vine garland for room decor, boho wall decor, farmhouse barn rafter garland decor, or as a seasonal or holiday decor.

Each greenery garland is 6.5 ft long and 5.9 inches wide, and has abundant leaves and multi-branching design covering the stem. This faux garland has a combination of 17 white roses and eucalyptus, boxwood and apple frosted leaves to give loads of texture. If you want to create extra volume with your eucalyptus garland -- before using, just hang it up, air it out and it will naturally become more full.

Black and neutrals farmhouse style table settings

I love this Modern Farmhouse runner set.

Modern farmhouse style blends traditional farmhouse decor with contemporary design, furnishings, and color schemes. Modern farmhouse evokes feelings of warmth and comfort. It's classic without being fussy and makes elevated designs comfortable, making you want to put your feet up and stay a while.

While the classic farmhouse style evokes homesteads with plenty of vintage furnishings and traditional fabrics, the modern farmhouse style is a bit less rustic.

Enjoy a current style with modern touches of matte black paired with timeless ivory and gold.

Adding a tablecloth when you’re hosting a large crowd looks like you took an extra step to make the space feel decorated, but it also protects your table.

Create Your Centerpiece -

Before any dishes hit the table, go ahead and build out your centerpiece.

To fill in the gaps around the centerpiece or garland, add unscented candles of varying sizes which will give the centerpiece some height. You can place tree ornaments in areas around candles to add more texture.

Have a joyous holiday season while enjoying your beautiful table and decor!

Window treatments help with a home’s energy efficiency by providing insulation, controlling solar heat gain, and by using natural light to reduce the use of electric light (called daylighting), which saves energy. Here’s a look at each—and how they help create your comfort zone. Providing insulation—winter/cool climates In winter, or if you live in a cool climate, window treatments help insulate at the window, preventing heat from escaping and keeping a room warmer. Open your window treatments during the day so that free solar heat from direct sunlight will warm your home.

When planning out your draperies there are a lot of elements to think about. Some of the most important questions are: What style are you trying to achieve? What fabric should you use? What type of product will work best for your window? We immediately focus on the fabric and the drapery style. One of the questions that often gets overlooked until the end is – what kind of hardware will you use?
