Hunter Douglas Lifetime Guarantee

COVERED (BY A LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY)

Hunter Douglas window fashion products are covered for defects in materials, workmanship or failure to operate for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product (unless shorter periods are provided below)
All internal mechanisms.
Components and brackets.
Fabric delamination.
Operational cords for a full 7 years from the date of purchase.
Repairs and/or replacements will be made with like or similar parts or products.
Hunter Douglas motorization components are covered for 5 years from the date of purchase.

NOT COVERED (BY A LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY)

Any conditions caused by normal wear and tear.
Abuse, accidents, misuse or alterations to the product.
Exposure to the elements (sun damage, wind, water/ moisture) and discoloration or fading over time.
Failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, proper installation, cleaning or maintenance.
Shipping charges, cost of removal and reinstallation.

If you are not the original owner, we may be able to provide you with repair parts and instructions free of charge. Visit our Parts Request formand submit your request to us or contact your local dealer for assistance. There will be costs associated with the repair. The Graber Limited Lifetime Warranty represents a dedication to your complete satisfaction—ensuring a lifetime of beauty, excellence, and service when you need it most.

COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

Original defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product (unless shorter periods are noted below), assuming the product was properly installed
All internal mechanisms, components, and brackets
For three (3) years from the date of purchase: operating cords, pleated shades without looped tape, horizontal vinyl blinds slats, and vertical blinds vanes
For five (5) years from date of purchase: motorization components and accessories (batteries not included),draperies, fabric covered cornices and valances, soft shades and accessories, exterior solar shades (provided they are fully raised during inclement weather and windy conditions)
Repairs under this warranty will be made with like or similar parts

NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse; failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, use, cleaning, or maintenance
Discoloration, fading, cracking, shrinking, or stretching caused by long exposure to direct sunlight
Slight color variation; natural variations in color, grain, or weave of natural materials
Slight warpage of wood blinds or shutters; excessive warpage caused by high humidity
Shipping or labor costs incurred by taking product down, re-measuring, or re-installation
Unfinished cornices and valances; Palladian shelves
Fabric used for “Customer's Own Material” orders

Alta Limited Lifetime Warranty

Because we take pride in our workmanship and quality that goes into every one of our products, we back our products with this warranty.

We extend this limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. This warranty applies only to manually operated Custom Products properly installed in the window, door or interior area for

which they were intended.

Installation of the product must be in accordance

with the accompanying instructions. The

product cannot be modified. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to maintain and clean the product in compliance with the instructions provided.

The product must be used only in the window for which it was purchased.

This warranty covers our products for defects in materials, mechanisms, workmanship, or failure to operate properly.

Operational cords are warranted for 5 years from the date of purchase. Any conditions caused by damage to the product resulting from misuse, abuse, direct exposure to salty air or discoloration due to sunlight or the passage of time are not covered by this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO

CONDITIONS CAUSED BY NORMAL WEAR AND

TEAR UPON THIS PRODUCT.

This Warranty Is Exclusive And In Lieu Of All

Other Obligations, Liabilities Or Warranties. In no event shall Alta be liable for INCIDENTAL or CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,

so this exclusion or limitation may

not apply to you.

In the event of a defect under this warranty, Alta will repair or replace the product, at our option, provided it is returned to an authorized dealer. Our warranty excludes shipping charges and labor costs for removal, measuring and installation.

Repairs will be made with like or similar parts.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, andyou may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

Norman Warranty

Norman® shutters are backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty against original defects in

materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the shutter(s), provided that such products were properly installed. Any resale or other transfer of the product and/or materials voids this warranty.

Composite shutters have a Lifetime Limited warranty covering colorfastness and warping.

Painted and stained shutters have a 3 year warranty covering colorfastness. Wood materials may warp in high humidity areas. The manufacturer considers this normal wear and tear and is not covered by this warranty.

Motorization components are covered for two years from the date of purchase.

Repair or remake of defective products is the sole remedy under this warranty and in no

event shall Norman® or its licensed distributors or dealers be liable for costs to remove and/or reinstall the product. Repairs will be made with like or similar parts. This warranty does not include shipping charges, costs of labor for measuring, installation, or trip charges. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, as well as details regarding the nature of the problem, location of the product, etc...
